Borrowing, storing and returning
If several persons are working on the same project it must always be ensured that they are not in each other’s way, and that they do not obstruct or unintentionally work against each other.
Before you can work on a document in the onion.net editor you must first borrow it. This is only possible if the document has not already been lent out, and onion.net takes care of this. onion.net automatically produces a new version of the document by lending. Older versions are therefore not lost .
You can store what you have done at any time in between, without making the document available to others for processing.
Please note that all modifications that have not been stored are lost if you close the browser window.
The stored version can be looked at via the preview .
If you are happy with the result of your work, then you return the document, or otherwise you can edit further or reject the entire version.
